Indian Cookery Master Class vegetarian 2019
Learn to Cook vegetarian dishes which are sourced from fresh produce and herbs, delicate spices, curry sauce and homemade dairy products. Recipes which are loaded with information on ingredients, health benefits, techniques, equipment, and culinary secrets.
We offer a range of day and weekend classes for all ages and abilities, each of which teach delicious dishes that can be prepared quickly or in advance to be enjoyed with family and friends.
Our group classes are very informal and relaxed and well balanced. There will be some demo and lots of hands on cooking as the class is divided into smaller groups with each group making different the recipes. At the end of the class you will have seen how all the recipes are made. Classes end with everyone sitting down around the table to enjoy the food that has been cooked along with a glass of wine.
We can adapt many of our classes to suit special dietary requirements, so if you are gluten-free, vegetarian, halal etc do let us know and we will do our best to provide alternatives.
Some examples of the dishes we will be mastering
Vegetable Bhaji-Making the fritters with vegetables of choice be it Onion or Spinach! we will learn to flavour it with spices and frying it.
Lentil Dal- A preparation which showcases tempering methods used in Indian Kitchens
Aubergine curry- Learning to make a basic curry paste and incorporating vegetables
Aromatic Rice- Cooking Rice to perfection is an art, spicing it up with exotic flavours to compliment the curry.
Mint Chutney and Cucumber relish.
